This time we get some backgrounds of some characters, and a bit of the story is exposed. Also, having kawaii characters and adding moe elements in a show means it’s gonna be a success. XD

Why would someone name a character Cummings. T___T

Alphard got captured in the first episode then gets saved. That shows how easy extra characters can be killed.

Alphard is not amused.

Their existence in the show is still foggy.

Maria gets interviewed by her own senpai.

Is this part really necessary? ANSWER: YES.

We get Maria’s background a little. And we see Alphard’s association with Liang Qi. And we learned that terrorists of the 21st century runs big companies to back them up. A virus has been introduced, and a warfreak old man has been fried.

Lessons in this episode:
1. Do not park in the restaurant.
2. Do not fly a taxi unless in China.
3. If there’s a hole, patch it with strings.
4. Do not use plushies as wipes, use tissue instead or curtains. XD
5. Terrorists for dummies. “Terrorists needs big companies so they could buy bombs.”
6. When meeting a neko-chan cosplayer, you know what to do!

Canaan is targeted to fanboys, that’s why it is filled with cute girls and hot roof to roof jumping and guns shooting, explosions and a few guys dead. Srsly.

Common sense doesn’t work with her. Shooting a plushie with a sniper rifle? hohoho..

Thoughts~

This is just episode one yet a lot of things are going on simultaneously. All of the characters share the 22 minutes airtime but obviously Canaan gets the most appearance. The animation is superb as expected from P.A. Works studio, the backgrounds and character movements are well made. Character designs are awesome and brilliantly made by Kanami Sekiguchi. The story is yet to be told, every scene is still a mystery and makes me wonder who’s on the good or bad side. The character introductions might be too much for a single episode, they get to say a few lines but nothing yet is shown about them. A few extra guys gets killed and a lot of bullets missed Canaan. Amazing how Canaan jumps from roof to roof like some superhero. Hope to see more Canaan goodness next episode.
