Samsung SyncMaster 2343BW

Anyways, featuring my not so new Samsung SyncMaster 2343BW! As the name suggest it’s a 23″ LCD monitor.
It has no problem with HD because it comes with a native resolution of 2048×1152! This is my first time watching full HD on a PC monitor without the borders! Kakkoi!

Port comes with a DVI or the white video port, and the good old blue port, I heard the white port is the 2nd form of that blue one and performs a lot better.

It also features 20000:1 Dynamic contrast! WOW! that sounds so cool but I don’t know what it means either! But who the hell cares as long as I can watch HD quality anime and movies! XD

Screenshots below!

This is the full screenshot + the secondary monitor. Thats 2048×1152 + 1280×1024~

The second monitor is the place for my Itunes. Or when i need to do homework and watch anime at the same time! XD

Anime res tests~!

Sora no Otoshimono @480p

K-On! @ 720p

K-On! @ 1080p

I just noticed that K-On! is the only series that I downloaded the 1080p! XD My pc is filled with 720p anime.

Only problem that i see is that when I play avi’s i clearly see lots of boxes, it’s totally pixellated. So it’s MKV all the way for me nao. XD

That’s about it I think, if there’s any questions don’t hesitate to ask~

Acer Aspire One AO751H (ZA3)

After canvasing through the Computer stores of SM MOA, we finally decided to get the Acer Aspire One. Since it’s the best deal with its price at that moment. The search began since the old HP laptop died and the Fujitsu laptop’s keyboard followed for some reason. We were left with 2 choices, to buy a desktop or a laptop, since we have no table and space to spare, we picked the laptop.

Oh yeah, it comes with a free external slim dvd /cd-rw drive! AND I LOVE RED.

It’s not that bad since it’s small and the basic tasks are done, except gaming and BD movies. Even with tweaks to play the HD 1080p, the AA1 still crawls to play the K-On ep03 [1920x1080 BD_Flac] MKV.

Tested Warcraft 3: TFT, the Blizzard Intro is graphically ruined and lagged. It’s pretty decent in game, well with the video options from medium to low. The mouse starts to act funny though.

The Holy Specs:
Acer Aspire One
CPU: Intel Atom z520 (1.33GHz)
LCD: 11.6″ HD Acer LED LCD (1366×768 resolution)
RAM: 2GB DDR2
HD: 250GB
OS: Windows Vista Home Basic

PROs:
Lightweight
Stylish
Big Keys
Does the job

CONs:
Windows VISTA Home Basic. Mayoi-chan’s not impressed.

Yaay for Cp.com’s first Tech post.
